“ Wonderful place to visit. Such a great atmosphere with lovely food. The service is excellent. It is so popular all year round. ”
“ Popped in for a cream tea to make the most of this lovely weather while on the moors. Have to say that the staff were excellent and so helpful, polite and always smiling Food turned up and was delicious, fresh and so tasty Can’t fault a thing and will return ”
“ This cafe really stands out for its location, beautiful setting, coffee, cakes and service. While not an easy drive to get here in a car, the trip would definitely appeal to the bikers out there for its stunning, winding roads. Speaking of transport, the car park is huge, with spaces for motorbikes, coaches and cars. If you sat outside, you’d have a great view of the church and its stunning green, alongside a few local shops worth visiting. While the coffee and cake slices were great, the queue to order was quite long, approx. 20min - showing how popular this cafe is. Otherwise, it is definitely worth visiting on a sunny weekend! ”
“ We visited this place on our road trip around Cornwall. We ordered an English breakfast and coffee. Their homemade beans are very interesting and good. Also, try their scones; I've never had such a good scone ever. They are dog-friendly. They get busy, but it's worth trying. The food is amazing, and the place is cute. It's pricey, but you get your money's worth. We would come back again for sure. #travelwithtentbox ”
“ This is the second time I have been here. The food is wonderfully presented. I was really impressed. We both a burger. It was so nice. Also had a cappuccino. Staff were really friendly too. I would definitely recommend. ”
“ This place was perfect following a scenic bike ride across the moors. The staff are really nice and friendly. I ordered a flat white and it was delivered to the table really quick. I also had a chocolate brownie which was really tasty. I will definitely revisit next time round. ”
“ What a lovely place. We parked in the nearby carpark after exploring the moor and had a need for a cup of tea and cake. Both were very good. We then went back on the moor, but thought that it would be a good place to return for a late lunch. That was a great idea. There were a lot more people there on our second visit, and to be honest, why is self-explanatory. We highly recommend due to quality of food, quick service, atmosphere and convenience. ”
“ Service was extremely fast even though it was so busy. Staff were lovely and food was delicious! I had the burger and it was one of the best I've ever had. You do have to pay for parking but it’s only about 1 per hour. ”
